The birds who leave later, already have their nestlings grown up and we can see them. Maybe you didn’t know, but the pelican nestlings can be seen only in autumn. In September, the pelicans teach their nestlings to fish and how to fly.
The water lilies are at their second blooming after the heat of august. Now we can see the most spectacular sunrises. Nothing compares with a sunrise, especially seen from the water. Autumn is the most anticipated season by the fishermen, when the fishing rods always get out of the water with a catch. If you wish to catch a lot of fish species, the perfect period to go fishing is September – November. The lowering of the water temperatures determines the fishes to eat more and often, getting ready for winter. The first hoarfrost will also determine the loss of grass from the lakes, making it perfect for the pike fishing games.

The fishermen will demonstrate in the middle of the nature how the fish should be prepared and cooked.
Listening to traditional music and in between two piscatorial stories, we invite you to cook fish on skewers and enjoy the unknown treasures of the Delta and of the Black Sea, but also a traditional strong alcoholic beverage.

Monday: You can wake up early in the morning and savor the coffee admiring the Delta spectacle from the terrace of your room or to take part in a fishing game. A fisherman may shake the fishing net right in front of you!
You have the possibility to rent a boat with a driver for a fishing match (carp, catfish and carassius, or pike and zander).

Optional: Trip to Letea Forest to admire the amazing carpets made out of wild orchids, which bloom on paludal meadows (we know exactly where), the dessert vegetation that is in full swing and the free horses, which guard their harems with rigor. We go to the Letea village on water, and we take the carriages led by horses to visit the traditional village and afterwards we go looking after wild horses in the forest.

Traditional fish soup;
The tourists are invited to take part in the process of making and tasting this special soup only after they prove that are capable to drink a few shots of “rachiu” (fruit brandy).
Traditional fish soup cooked to the pot on the trivet. When the locals say fish, it means all kind of fish found in Delta, at the same time. The formidable taste is given by the variety of fish. Absolutely to the pot on the trivet! Absolutely fresh!
In Delta, the fish soup is served in a specific manner: take out the fish and the vegetables on a platter and serve with garlic paste and vinegar. Only when you are full, you will serve a dense and life-giving soup. The fish soup will be served only with “palinca” (traditional fruit brandy) to stimulate your digestion.
Ataman’s Food (pork steak served with crushed potatoes);
Dessert.
Free time for rest, relaxation or different kind of activities: a row with SUP or kayak among reeds and water lilies, raft fishing contest, fishing lessons. You can try to become “big commander”, learning how to drive speedboats. The bravest and eager for adrenaline, can serve a cocktail at the ” edge of the pond” after a tour with the skis.

Fish Menu Proposal
15:30-17:30 Pool party: foam party, lasers, lights, heated swimming pool (minimum 32 Celsius degrees, both day and night) with generous size (150 m of water) with a depth of 1.4 m to 2 m, equipped with underwater massage facilities, hydro-massage waterfall and chromo-therapy.
16:30 Optional: Sunset in the Danube Delta.
A trip with the motorboats on the lakes between Crisan and Mila 23- this is highly recommended to be organized during afternoon, so as to be able to admire a breathtaking sunset in the Danube Delta, while listening to the sounds made by the water and the birds!
The trip is made on the lakes and channels situated nearby: Bodaproste- Trei Iezere- La Amiaza-Miazazi-Miazanoapte-Cazanele-Eracle-Mila 23-Dunarea Veche (the area of the Delta which is situated between Sulina and Chilia branches); the visit of the hometown of the well-known rower Ivan Patzaichin, a fishing village, is also included in this trip.
