Once arrived at Tulcea, we recommend you to visit The Eco Museum Center Danube Delta , situated close to the seafront. This was designed as a complex cultural institution – public museum and aquarium and is preferred by the locals and tourists for recreation and socialization.

In the evening, we recommend a walk on the Tulcea parade one of the most beautiful parades that you can meet along the way, or the old river. Do not miss a visit at the Independence Monument , the place where you have an amazing view over the city.

A trip which will take you in an amazing area of the delta, between the Sulina branch and the Chilia branch and will show you exactly what you expect from this wonderful place: dream landscapes, pelicans, swans, herons, cormorants and other rare birds.
At lunch you can serve a fresh and wild fish traditionally cooked after recipes of hundred of years old which will make you fall in love with the delta cuisine.

The free time until dinner will allow you to admire this beautiful city at the gates of the delta. During a walk you can admire: Arts Museum, Republica Museum ship, Museum of Ethnography and Folk Arts ; the places of worship: Azizie mosque, Israelite temple, Sfantul Nicolae cathedral, the Greek church and the clock church.;

We go to visit the monasteries from northern Dobrogea on the route: Tulcea Cataloi Posta Celic Dere monastery, we traverse the Telita forest, Saon monastery , Niculitel Cocos monastery Isaccea Luncavita Macin Mountains Natural Reservation, the oldest mountains from Romania, with an age of over 300 million years old (the Carpathian mountains raised 65 million years ago) and an initial altitude of 3000 m (today the highest peak has a bit less than 460 m) , which offers unique steppe landscapes at the bottom of the slopes, followed by durmast oak, manna ash, hornbeam and downy oak forests, the bushes on the summits and cliffs, then the steppe meadows with alpine aspect. There you can find the Valea Fagilor Natural Reservation – one of the oldest, interesting and known reservations from this country, which remarks itself through the unique and vigorous presence of the dobrogean beech which presents intermediate characters between the native beech and the oriental beech and the unique Dobrogea flora, similar to the ones from Crimea.
The departure place for the Macin Mountains Natural Reservation is the Information – Visit Center situated in Greci locality, with the following schedule:

We continue to visit the Letea forest and the traditional village, as well as the Sulina city, the most eastern terrestrial point of Europe, the old Porto-Franco and the place where you can hear for the first time the concept of United Europe
We do not leave Sulina without a visit at the three lighthouses as well as the river mouth of the Danube.
We return tired in the evening, but happy that we discovered this wonderful place.
