On the road to Tulcea we recommend to visit Enisala Citadel, a fortification built in the second half of the 14th century, one of the military architectural monuments from the medieval era on the territory of Romania.

Once arrived at Tulcea, we recommend you to visit the Danube Delta Eco tourism Museum Center, situated close to the city’s seafront. It was built as an complex cultural institution – public museum and aquarium and is preferred by the locals for recreation and socialization.

After the breakfast, you will have the occasion to discover the splendor of the Danube Delta in a 5 or 6 hours trip into the heart of the Delta., with departure from Murighiol.
A trip that will take you to the heart of the Danube Delta, on an exceptional route, where you will discover what really means the Danube Delta. You will discover areas with amazing landscapes, which shelter different species of birds: cormorants, grey heron, yellow heron, night herons, glossy ibis and ospreys. We will stop the boat for a short time to admire and photograph them. The Baclanesti and Fortuna lakes which are part of the Sontea-Fortuna complex of lakes, offers an interesting view, where you can find groups of pelicans, swans, Eurasian coot, little grebe.
Optional: You can serve dinner at the hotel’s restaurant or at a nearby restaurant.
During the trip there will be the following stops:
To visit the Mila 23 fishing village, a village of Lipovean – Russians, also the place of birth of the renowned rower Ivan Patzaichin;
Tourist information center of ARBDD Crisan (closed on Monday);
Danube Delta Resort, Crisan – to serve a fish lunch cooked after “Recipes from another century” (optional – for extra fee).

You can choose a relaxing walk on the parade of Tulcea, one of the most important parade of the Danube, then you can visit the Monument of Independence, situated on the highest point of Tulcea, where you can enjoy a wonderful landscape of the city and its parade.
On your way back, we recommend to visit “The Dobrogea monastery triangle”, which consists of Cocos, Saon and Celic Dere monasteries, the most imposing, most advanced and oldest monasteries from Tulcea county.
