The trip in the Danube Delta begins from Tulcea harbor, where we will embark from Danube Delta Resort dock, next to Delta Hotel**** on the fast barge and will go to discover the unique natural reservation, an UNESCO heritage from Romania, Danube Delta. We will get away from the city on the Tulcea branch downstream to Mila 36 canal, a well-known fishing place by the fishermen from the Danube Delta. From here we will continue the journey on the canals, areas that shelter different species of birds: cormorants, grey heron, yellow heron, night herons, glossy ibis and ospreys. To admire the landscape and the birds we will stop for a short time to be able to take photos. The return to Tulcea will be on the same course.

A trip that will take you to the heart of the Danube Delta, on an exceptional course, where you will discover what really means the Danube Delta. You will discover areas with amazing landscapes, that shelter different species of birds: cormorants, grey heron, yellow heron, night herons, glossy ibis and ospreys. We will stop the boat for a short time to admire and photograph them. The Baclanesti and Fortuna lakes which are part of the Sontea-Fortuna complex of lakes, offers an interesting view, where you can find groups of pelicans, swans, Eurasian coot, little grebe.

Example of organized trip on Tuesday and Friday:
Trip to the Letea forest to admire the wild orchids which blossom on the meadows next to the shore of the lakes (we know where), dessert vegetation in full expansion or the free horses who keep watch over their mares. We sail for the Letea village, we get onboard a horse drawn carriage to visit the Letea traditional village, then we will go in search of the wild horses through the forest.
The trip is realized with fast water crafts and with horse drawn carriages to visit the Letea forest, area with integral protection – UNESCO heritage, a fairy tale forest and landscape, also the traditional village – the place where the time and clock stopped hundred of years ago…
Those who desire can wake up early in the morning to go fishing in the pond behind the complex (pike, bass, crucian carp, rudd) or can go fishing in the Danube (carp, catfish, zander).
If there are amateurs, we offer you a boat to transfer you to the nearby fishing places (Dunarea Veche – narrow place) and the takeout breakfast.
